Message authentication is the most effective way to thwart unauthorized and corrupted messages being forwarded in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). For this reason, many message authentication schemes have been developed, in this paper; it proposes a scalable authentication scheme based on Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC). Where all the intermediate nodes do the authentication, the proposed scheme allows any node to transmit and receive an unlimited number of messages without the limitation of threshold problem. In addition, this scheme also provides message source anonymity.
