The highest probability of success, consuming least efforts and greatest business impact are considered major factors for the selection of best software project. The project selection is often referred as a difficult and important task by companies, but correct selection is necessary to achieve the goal. Defined methods of prioritizing the project parameters are helpful to select one best project from multiple projects. To deal with this situation AHP (Analytical Hierarchical Process) technique can be used to prioritize parameters for software project selection. This paper outlined the objective of AHP technique and presented the relative importance of software project Parameters.
