Privacy and Security Issues in RFID Technology

Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) systems are a common and useful in, supply chain management, asset tracking, animal tracking and retail inventory control. Due to hectic research and developments, in the near future, low-cost RFID tags may be a practical replacement candidate for optical barcodes on consumer items. Shockingly, the widespread arrangement of RFID gadgets in purchaser things may uncover new security and protection issues. In this paper, the authors discuss various research issues in the area of privacy and security and possible remedies in the present situation.
