Privacy plays an important role in blocking the development of social networking services, especially when strangers want to join hands for interest. A typical outlier detection algorithm doesn't suit for the application in social network model, and there is no special secure solution for this case. In this paper, a privacy preserving protocol is devised to detect preference outlier by the help of secure sum protocol and secret comparison protocol. It makes the final decision for whether a user is proper for the preference interest group without leaking privacy. Meanwhile, detailed analysis about complexity and security are presented.
