A Mobile Ad-hoc NETwork (MANET) is an autonomous system of mobile nodes connected by wireless links. Power failure of a mobile node not only affects the node itself but also its ability to forward packets on behalf of others and hence affects the overall network lifetime especially while multicasting the real time video file in multiple paths over a large number of nodes. Due to network mobility, the power level of nodes gets drained. Therefore, it is very difficult to find and maintain an optimal power aware route.
