QuickDB – Yet Another Database Management System?

Although DBMS (DataBase Management Systems) are of-ten hidden for a user, they are a part of many applications utilized in day-by-day life. In general, users can suppose two main types of DBMS: OLTP (On-Line Transaction Processing) and OLAP (On-Line Analytical Processing). They can also distinguish another classification related to the connection of a client and DBMS: client-server and embedded DBMS. The embedded DBMS enable to achieve the maximum performance since an often slow network connection is not used.
