In this paper, the authors have investigated the joint power and bandwidth allocation in random access and wireless Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) communication system with multiple source and multiple destination nodes. The multiple sources in the system each transmit information to multiple destinations and cooperate via an Orthogonal Amplify and Forwarding (OAF) protocol with different frequency slot. They formulate and analyze the problem in OFDMA network scheduling with instantaneous channel and queue size information when both power and bandwidth may be adaptively split among multiple users.
