Present Internet has evolved into a scale-free network, and the transmission between nodes generates a lot of redundant flow, which means the same data is transmitted repeatedly between two nodes. With the increasing amount of information on the Internet, especially when the requirement of video-sharing continues to strengthen, the authors need in-depth research on the characteristics of redundant flow, and structural contradictions of the Internet that make the trouble of redundant flow more prominent, therefore the dual-structure Internet has become an effective method to solve this problem.
