A MANET is an infrastructure-less type network, which consists of number of mobile nodes with wireless network interfaces. In MANET nodes can directly communicate to all other nodes within the radio communication range. In MANET there are different types of protocols like Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector routing (AODV), Dynamic Source Routing (DSR), Temporally Ordered Routing Algorithm (TORA), Protocol for Unified Multicasting through Announcement (PUMA), Multicast operation of Ad hoc On-demand Distance Vector routing (MAODV), etc. The secure ad hoc networks have to meet five security requirements: confidentiality, integrity, authentication, non-repudiation and availability.
