Routing Evaluation of Grid Based Architecture to Make Energy Consumption Efficient for IEEE 802.15.4 in Wireless Sensor Network Using Qualnet Tool
Wireless sensor network is a widely used approach mainly used for real time applications. Real time applications raise various fundamental problems like limited energy resources. In this paper, the authors have introduced a grid routing scheme which is used to analyzed optimal distance between grid nodes. After that a cost parameter is defined by considering the residual power and the location. Also propose a grid architecture based on grid routing to make energy consumption efficient for IEEE 802.15.4 by using QualNet tool. And also compare results of default DSR with modified DSR using PHY and MAC layer properties for the best possible results.
