Doctor Andy's Rule Language (pronounced like Darryl) is a computer language intended to encode knowledge as fuzzy logic rules. It is an extremely simple language and designed to be used with little training. It is intended to be a simple way to represent business or professional knowledge of both logical and numeric kinds, while permitting the representation and processing of various kinds of uncertainty. Darl is a semi-interpreted language and both an editor and interpreter are available as web services to be built into web connected applications. Uniquely, Darl is not only designed so that humans can create representations of knowledge; Darl code can also be created automatically by the processes of data mining, machine learning and machine optimization.
