Software testing is the main technique to ensure quality and finding bugs. It is in general a difficult and time-consuming task. Web applications are becoming more and more complex. Testing is often poorly performed or skipped by practitioners. Web testing may be even more difficult, due to the peculiarities of such applications. Test automation can help to avoid this situation. Automation testing is the use of testing tools and reduces the need of manual or human involvement, repetitive or redundant tasks. The objective of this thesis is to perform automation testing for web applications using software testing tool "Selenium Webdriver".
