In cognitive radio networks, the accuracy of spectrum sensing is crucial for protection of primary users, which is proportional to its sensing time. For fixed-duration frame, the longer sensing time can lead to the lower throughput, thus under the constraint of probability of detection, there necessarily exists an optimal tradeoff point where the maximum throughput can be obtained. However, even if error detection for primary users occurs with a small probability, it may still lead to a very serious interference to primary user, therefore, an instantaneous interference constraint is additionally considered in this paper, which can further protect primary users when error detection occurs.
