In this paper, the authors investigate how to send space time codes with full diversity and low decoding complexity for Z channels using pre-coders. First, they introduce their channel model and assume that they have 2 transmitters and 2 receivers. Each transmitter sends code words to respective receiver at the same time. They propose an orthogonal transmission scheme that combines space-time codes and array processing to achieve low-complexity decoding and full diversity for transmitted signals. To their best knowledge, this is the first scheme which can achieve low-complexity decoding and full diversity for any transmitted code word in Z channel when all the users transmit at the same time. Simulation results validate their analysis.
