Mobile Ad hoc NETwork (MANET) comprises of a set of mobile nodes connected through wireless links that are capable to communicate and share information without any centralized infrastructure. Mobile Ad hoc NETworks (MANETs) are autonomous and infrastructure less networks with dynamic topology. Due to such dynamic nature designing routing algorithm is crucial. Transmitting time-constrained messages (such as VoIP or multimedia applications) over such network require considerable attention. To increase the possibility of successful delivery of time-constrained messages, a routing algorithm based on multiple-copy approach has been proposed and referred as Adaptive Fault Tolerant Replication routing (AFTR) protocol.
