In this paper, the authors propose an architecture framework for interworking of Long Term Evolution (LTE), Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) and Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) technologies. The aim is to offer users of various networks seamless high quality IP-based multimedia services access anywhere at any time. IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is used in the proposed architecture for providing a platform through which telecommunications operators can merge the various networks. A Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) REFER method which provides uninterrupted service continuity is introduced.
