In this paper, the authors present a simple way to implement an interface between the whole traffic management systems and monitoring devices using Microcontroller based embedded system. Generally a traffic system does not require any monitoring device. But being an advanced traffic management system, it is connected to a control station through an embedded system. While the system on the other hand also keeps on counting the number of vehicles passing through a way with the help of sensors.
