Solution To Prohibit Rushing Attack In Mobile Ad-Hoc Network

Mobile Ad hoc NETworks (MANETs) incorporates mobile nodes that forward information or packets from node to node through a wireless medium. The topology changes rapidly, there is no central Authority for routing of packets hence the communication is on mutual trust between nodes. Thus attention has been paid on developing a secure reactive protocol against various attacks. In this paper, prevention of rushing attack is presented over AODV. Thus they develop a Modified Secure Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector (MS-AODV) to address the rushing attacks and reduce the overhead in network.
