Optical Networks (ONs) are currently updating in characteristics and become Next-Generation Passive Optical Networks (NGPONs) which is designed to support higher data rates, different wavelengths and Optical Network Units (ONUs). System is designed using extended range of compatibility. Optical networks are difficult to deploy because of increased complexity and budget parameter. Optical network operators need monitoring system for the high service quality of physical layer. This monitoring system plays important role during the fiber installation in network management system and testing monitoring system is used for fault detection and correction. This paper helps in improvements of monitoring techniques.
