A Mobile ad-hoc NETwork (MANET) is a collection of autonomous mobile nodes that communicate with each other over wireless links. The topology of an ad hoc network is highly dynamic due to the arbitrary movement of each node. In the absence of dedicated routers, every node contributes towards the configuration and maintenance of the routing framework. Routing protocols need to consider inter-related factors like node mobility, bandwidth scarcity and energy constraints. This survey paper attempts to outline concept of QoS, unicast routing in mobile ad hoc networks. This paper also presents the concept of adaptive neuro fuzzy logic controller.
