MANETS can be outlined as a collection of large number of nodes that form a network that is temporary and do not have an infrastructure or central access point. Every node in the network will forward packets to alternative nodes and can act as both router and as hosts. Since MANET is vulnerable to security attacks it is essential to provide privacy for secure routing. Privacy-preserving routing is requisite for some ad hoc networks that require stronger privacy protection.
