Now-a-days, where technology reaching its heights, advertisements are just shown over different medias haphazardly just focusing on purpose, functions and dimensions of ads, neglecting consumer attitudes and sentiments, this proposes a feature extraction process to match advertisement and targeted users by combining features from the user profile and advertisement specification. This paper deals with advertising over IPTV (Internet Protocol TeleVision) which is based on IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), a state of the art next generation telecom platform, proposing an enhancement in software application for targeted advertisement as well as acceptability of targeted advertisement over IPTV based on users preferences in comparison of others advertising medias that serve as source of revenue generation.
