Wireless communication is an ever-developing field and the future holds many possibilities in this area. In a matter of two years the 802.11ac WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) (Wi-Fi) was developed and approved by the IEEE with an extreme improvement in speed, bandwidth and features including up to eight spatial streams and 256 which results in a 33% increase in the rate.
