One of the most important changes to IT infrastructure resulting from the rapid rise of BYOD and mobility is the move to touch- or gesture-based interfaces. Most consumer apps and many versions of business applications are now touch-enabled and many more will be in the next 12 months. End users expect to use touch on their smart phones and tablets, and are now asking for the same kind of functionality on corporate notebooks.
