In order to resolve the problem of Switched Reluctance Drive system (SRD), such as torque ripple, high noise and its inability to achieve good performance in wide speed range, etc., research on torque ripple reduction is conducted from the perspectives of power conversion circuit and control strategy. Additionally, a SRD system based on DSP TMS320LF2407A is designed by experimenting on a 15kW four phase 8/6 model switched reluctance motor. This paper attaches great importance on introducing the overall hardware system design scheme, the power conversion circuit, current detecting circuit and position detecting circuit, etc.
