The Next Step for your Datacenter (Dutch)

What is hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI)?

In a traditional data environment you will soon come across a few boundaries. And it is precisely those boundaries that have led to more flexible solutions such as hyper-converged.

You used to buy new storage or servers every five years. Then you were forced to make an estimate of your usage; now, but also within four-five years. That meant that you always had a lot of idle capacity for a few years.

All those systems must also be managed separately and be kept up-to-date, which takes a lot of time and requires a lot of expertise. Detecting problems is more difficult and as there are many different types of security that need a solution.

A hyper-converged system offers a solution to those problems.
