Due to the new generation of mobile devices such as Smartphones and tablets, users are no longer constrained to their traditional devices such as PCs and laptops in order to access the information they need. This has given rise to a new trend in Business Intelligence (BI) coined mobile BI. This new term reflects an organizing vision, created by a broad community, which is prominent during the comprehension process of this innovation. The authors examine the mobile BI organizing vision created in terms of interpretation and legitimation. Analyses of published material, e.g. trade press and white papers, and semi-structured interviews were conducted in order to describe the community members' discourse.
