Deployment of sensor nodes with full coverage and connectivity is a real challenge in the field of wireless sensor network. In a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), communication between any two nodes takes place over the radio channel (open spectrum) and thus adds to the interference. The number of nodes deployed in a WSN and their relative positions within the network has a direct impact on this interference. More the number of nodes in the region of interest more will be the communication cost. QoS is the basic requirement of a sensor network.
