The transactional processing in replicated data for distributed system has been around for many years and it is considered a well-established and mature technology. The conventional transaction model, although suitable for predictable database applications such as banking and airline reservation systems, does not provide much flexibility and high performance when used for complex applications such as object oriented systems, long-lived transactions or distributed systems. In this paper the authors describe the transaction-processing model of distributed database includes data, transaction, data manager, and transaction manager and their transaction process.
