Transient Analysis of Track Circuit based on Finite Differential Method

In allusion to the research on track circuit are mostly focused on spatial domain at present, the finite differential method is put forward to the time domain analysis of track circuit in this paper, in the theory of partial differential equation numerical solution. A new differential formation of track circuit based on lax format is established and according to the lumped parameter equivalent circuit, the boundary conditions at the beginning and terminal are confirmed. Through example, the time domain solution conform to the transmission characteristic of track circuits and the accuracy of the method is validated by comparing the simulation result with that of ADI- FDTD (Alternating Direction Implicit) method.
