In this paper, the authors designed a frequency dependant antenna for S and L band frequency applications. They have designed a microstrip antenna with a rectangular shaped patch element loaded with T-Strips along two of its radiating edges for triple frequency operation. The design of this antenna is being simulated in ANSOFT HFSS software. The antenna is fed with a coaxial feed. The patch element is being placed on modern Epson substrate with relative permittivity 4.2. They obtained high performance characteristics and very good return loss values for the three operational frequencies of the designed antenna.
