Trust Based Service Discovery in Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks

Wireless Mobile Ad-hoc NETwork (MANET) is a self-configuring network, which is composed of several movable devices connected with each other without wires. MANET is highly dynamic, multi-hop and infrastructure-less in nature. In this dynamic environment, different nodes offering different services may enter and leave the network at any time. For better utilization of shared resources within the network, efficient and timely service discovery is required. Not only that, trustworthiness of the service provider is also an important thing to be considered, as all the devices are unknown to each other and network is formed on the fly basis.
