Twice Anonymity Algorithm for LBS in Mobile P2P Environment
In this paper, the authors tackle a location privacy protection in current Location-Based Services (LBSs) where mobile users have to report their exact location information to a LBS provider in order to obtain their desired services. Location cloaking has been proposed and well-studied to protect user privacy. It blurs the accurate user location (i.e., a point with coordinates) and replaces it with a well-shaped cloaked region (usually a circle or a rectangle). However, to obtain such an Anonymizing Spatial Region (ASR), nearly all existing cloaking algorithms require knowing the accurate locations of all users.
