Quantum computers challenge the security of traditional cryptosystems. In this paper, a novel multivariate public key cryptosystem with chaotic perturbation is proposed. The plain-texts are encrypted using a traditional multivariate cryptosystem first. The outputs serve as two functions: a necessary component to generate cipher texts and the initial values to generate chaos sequences. A two-dimension chaos system is evaluated using the initial values and assigned parameters. Finally, the cipher-texts are derived by adding the outputs of multivariate cryptosystem and chaos system.
