Two Notch Loaded Stacked Circular Half Disk Patch Antenna for WLAN/ISM Band Application
In this paper, the authors represent a symmetrically notch loaded stacked circular half disk patch antenna. It is found that the bandwidth of the antenna depends directly on the notch dimensions. Bandwidth of the notch loaded stacked circular half disk patch is found to be 44.56%. This antenna can be applicable for wireless local area network and ISM band. Two parallel notches are incorporated to perturb the surface current path, introducing local inductive effect that is responsible for the excitation of the second resonant mode.
