In this paper, the authors proposed a result of the statistical research devoted to the routing optimization that has been performed by zoning the region of operation of wireless peer-to-peer mobile stations. This paper is determination of the optimal number of sectors and annular zones, which divide the region of operation of wireless stations. This type of partition allows them to reduce the number of intermediate stations-routers at the stage of the route discovery and, as a result, to save network energy resources.
