2 Keyboards, 1 Computer. Each keyboard designated for specific uses

I would like to plug 2 different Keyboards into 1 computer. I will be running multiple programs on the computer simultaneously. I would like to be able to designate that certain programs respond ONLY to one of the keyboards, and NOT to the other keyboard. Does anyone know if this is possible? I see a program called KeyboardSplitter that appears to be able to do something similar, but not exactly what I am looking for. Anyone have any ideas?
