Running OpenClaw on a fanless mini PC – good enough for light workloads?

by Qotom-Mini-PC . Updated 1 month, 1 week ago

Hi,

I recently installed OpenClaw on a fanless mini PC (J5005 class system) to test it as a low-power always-on node.

Main usage is very light:

simple tools
small local tasks
continuous low-load operation

So far it’s stable and completely silent.

Not aiming for performance, just testing reliability.

Question
Is this kind of fanless setup reliable long-term?
Any concerns with thermal throttling over time?
