access 2007 database stopped allowing new input

I have made a database which worked well until recently. I opened it to add information and found that I couldn’t add any new information to most of the forms. I have one form still letting me add new information. I have even tried the backup and it has the same problem. Can anyone suggest what I may have done or what could be the problem please.
