Accessing Remote User Share

Is there’s a way we can access the shared resources(Directory), on the harddisk of a PC, which is connected remotely to our Network(using NT RAS Server/Cisco Access Server).
Can we see that PC in the Network Neighbourhood ?
I tried but it doesnt work. The other way it works absolutely fine.(i.e. remotely logged in user can have access to all the resources on the LAN)
