I’ve got one that?s got me stumped. Myself and one of my employee’s have looked at this one and we still seem to be having the same problem. The initial problem was the motherboard so we installed the board, loaded up the laptop and everything worked fine. We then decided to do a clean install of windows media center 2005. We used the ACER installation cds which are bundled with all of the drivers. After the installation was complete and windows loaded for the first time the whole screen would flash repeatedly with bright colors. We immediately thought we got a bad MB.
After installing a new MB the same issue occurred. We are able to get into windows but eventually the screen flashes. We tried uninstalling the ATI video drivers and as soon as that happened the screen flashed. We also attempted to start up in safe mode and were unsuccessful with removing the drivers. I would appreciate any suggestions! Thanks.
