Across-the-wire migration problem

Performed an across-the-wire migration from a Netware 4.11 to Netware 5.1. One problem encountered.

Tape drive (Python Model STD624000N) is not recognized for back up by Backup Exec 8.0. But the utilities work. (ie. Rewind, Eject, etc..)

Installed Patch 2a for Netware 5.1.
Installed Update NWASPI.CDM

On the console the following is displayed.
Could not create SMDR instance
SMDR Error Code: ffffffff
Module SMDR.NLM is being referenced

Error loading TSA

Anyone got any idea’s?
I have tried several things.
