Active X control updates

Hey everyone,
at work we constantly have to deal with the use of another site to complete our daily tasks. The problem that we witness is that just about every other week or so the site updates it’s active x drivers prompting us to do the same. In order for it to update properly on our 2000 machines we have to log on as administrator and run a quey then resign on as the user and all is well untill the next update. This gets frustrating that we frequently have to go through this process wasting time. My question is if anyone knows of a work around rather than jumping thru these hoops updating automatically that doesnt compromise our security of our locked down machines?
