ActiveSync and Group schedules

We use Exchange 2000 to share a group calendar on our windows 2000 advanced server box. i have been trying to get palm support for this shared calendar so that people can take everyones schedule with them. acoording to MS, if you create a group schedule in the private calendar, containing the shared (public) calendar, activesync 3.5+ will automatically synchronize the group schedule too. well, we’re running AS 3.6, and i created the group schedules, but still the public calendar info is justnot synching down to the handhelds. any advice? other ideas?
