Actually what he shd have done..

I agre with the fact that all he needed is to slave the hdd. But he had mentioned earlier that he was not able to access the HDD thru a bootable floppy.. If he managed to get the contents by treating the HDD as a slave, then i think he should have definitely gained access to the HDD contents thru a bootable disk…
