adaptec easy creator 4+

I am using easy creator for an HP burner on a Win2k PRO box. the problem is , the software has to have admin privilages in order to run properly. Is there an option, to get around this, as I only want to give user privilages to that box.
Or, can anyone recommend a better cd burning product without these requirements. I will appreciate anyones input. Thanks.
