Advance feature in excel 2007 missing

I’ve looked everywhere online and can’t seem to find an answer. I have office 2007 professional plus. I want to use the advanced filter option but it doesn’t show up as a menu item at all. It’s not that it’s greyed out, it simply does not appear. Does anyone know why or how I can fix this? My operating system is Vista. Thanks much.
