advice of studies

I did 2 yrs course in data processing but only have little work expericence in its,having been working in the field not related to computing.Am about going back to the university to study a degree program in computing.I need advice whether to continue in computing or change to another field like business information technology or go for electronic system design.If computing,which areas should I major in.
