I have an IBM RS6000 F80 model running as an AIX server onsite (AIX 4.3.3.0). Can anyone tell me if it is possible to configure the Service processors Call in/Call Out functions to use a modem via a terminal server. i.e. the connect would be from AIX server serial port to terminal server port, the modem for Call in/Call out would be attached to another of the terminal server ports. I don’t see Call in being a problem as the caller can issue the required “connect” commands in the Terminal server, I am more concerned about Call out. Any ideas ??
