Alcatel Home Plus Plus 500 ADSL Modem Driver

Hi to all,

I have an Alcatel Home Plus Plus 500 ADSL Modem that seems to work great. However, recently, I had to reinstall XP Pro, and there seemed to be missing a driver or something because I couldn’t connect again. I had to take my PC to my company’s IT guys, and whatever they did, now I can get online again. Well, I messed some things up again, and want to reinstall XP Pro, but this time, before I do, I want to find what to do / install before I make this mistake again. Can someone give me a heads up on ADSL modems and what I need to do after I reinstall XP Pro to get my connection back again?
